Truebies, we are down to the final three episodes of what makes HBO worth the monthly raping called a cable bill. Are you getting the jitters like I am? Then, let's join hands Mantonia style, and say it with me, "Please, please, please let the finale do the entire season justice!" I'm just sayin', last season was a complete let-down. Let's hope this one isn't.

Okay, now that's out of the way, let's get back to Sookie saving Bill's ass AGAIN. Is this getting old for anyone else? This time, she sends the most potent faerie blast at Eric right before he impales Bill, and knocks his memory back into his frontal lobe. He has flashbacks of all his memories, including all of his encounters with Sookie, and suddenly knows he cannot kill Bill, because Sookie's request reminds him how much he cares for her. While Mantonia disappears with her leftovers, Bill and Nan leave the hotel to go argue at the mansion. Why can't they just get along? Oh yeah, cuz Bill is growing a conscience. I have a feeling this  whole new side of Bill will make Sookie really want to live out her fantasy from last week's episode.

Eric and Sookie follow the crew to the mansion, and end up having a heart-to-heart where Eric declares his love for her, but Sookie points out the fact that just because she loves him doesn't mean he owns her. Guess he forgot that part when his memory came back. Eric begs to differ, adding the infamous, "Sookie, you are mine." Sook explains that she loves both Bill and he, and cannot live without either of them. Eric is not amused. Frankly, neither am I. Pam interrupts their private convo, and is not the least bit appreciative that Sookie has broken Eric's spell. She is happy to have her maker home, tho, and she's looking good, too! Yeay, Pam got her face back!

Bill tells everyone in his mansion that he is going to blow up Mantonia's Emporium, but Sookie feels this is morally wrong, since innocent Wiccans are being kept hostage. She asks Jason, Jesus and Lafayette for help in preventing the war between vamps and witches. Hate to say it, Sook, but this is going to be one nasty war. Start praying, blondie, cuz you're going to need all the help you can get. Maybe you should have recruited the real crazies, like Terry and Andy Bellefleur? They're just shootin' beer cans in the woods, talkin' about their feelings, reasoning their drug addictions. Wonder if they know a vamp/witch war is going on?

While Sookie and her crew hide behind an SUV across the street from the Emporium, Mantonia also have a come-to-Jesus, and yes, I mean that in the most punny way possible. Marnie wants to continue the destruction of all vamps, while Antonia is conflicted about killing innocents. They finally agree on the common goal of obliteration of all vampires, and continue to keep the Wiccans locked in the Emporium by magic. Jesus decides he is going to go talk to Marnie, convinced that she is being held hostage by Antonia's spirit. He gets through Mantonia's protection spell by donning a Burning Man outfit through wavy light, and earns her trust again. Marnie tells Jesus that she and Antonia are kindred spirits, acting as one. While Marnie is showing off her captive vamps, Tara and Holly chant a spell to break the hostage sitch. They get out the door and into the street, but Mantonia is too quick for them. Both women, along with Lafayette and Sookie, are captured in Mantonia's disappearing spell, and POOF, they are gone from Jason's sight. I wonder if he's going to pull a finale rescue scene, like in Season 2? Ahhhhhh, Jay-Jay, my misunderestimated hero.

The final scene has me tongue-tied. I don't even know where to start with the references. I think the Fantastic 4 line-up photo needs to have a caption contest.------------------------------------>

As for all the other plot lines? Here are your two-sentence recaps:

Sam/Tommy/Alcide: Alcide brings a dying Tommy to Sam, and then dance around his body, happy that storyline is finally dead to the world. (see what I did there?) Hope his bloody body didn't mess up the pool table felt-- replacing that is going to be a pretty penny.

Debbie/Marcus: Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, is alls I gots to say. Please don't make me watch these two get it on, HBO.

So, do you think Sookie and Eric will stay together now that his memory is back?

I finally caught up with the latest episode, loved it! I'm so sad there are only 2 episodes left! Ok, some of my thoughts...

This must be good acting on Alexandar Skarsgard's part, but I've been thinking his memory-less version of Eric actually looks like a different person because he just looks so innocent. He doesn't really have the swagger that cocky bad boy Eric had. Maybe the black leather jackets helped the swag too. But, as soon as Sookie did that thing with the light coming from her hands, before he even spoke I knew he'd changed back to old Eric because you could see it in his eyes - danger! Now that's good acting, right?! The bad boy Eric is def sexier in my book!

I felt so sad for Hoit (sp?) when he was talking about a cute/sleepy Jessica crawling out of her cubby at night. I kinda feel bad for Jason for having to hear Hoit's sob story and know he's the worst friend on the planet.

So glad Sam's brother's [storyline] is dead. What a yawner. Walk towards the light, Tommy! Once again though, poor Alcide has such a weak storyline. Debbie and Marcus is the sickest thing ever.

Until next week!

@court, i was thinking the same thing about alex skarsgard, he is very good at doing both sides of eric! i love how his voice and intonation change from innocent eric to naughty eric. he is a very good actor in my book since i saw him play a drag queen in a foreign flick he did about 10 years ago.

if only alcide could just play his entire roll neked, i think i would be ok with his storyline.

Yes, it's his voice and intonation that changes, you're right! But something in his eyes change too. Maybe when he's bad Eric he lowers his head, sort of tucking  his chin and looks up from his bad boy lashes sort of dangerously sexy looking!
