***Sorry, this post has taken me TWO DAYS to put together. I guess I've been busy this week!***

Last week after watching Pop Culture Junkie’s latest podcast on our new book club picks, your fellow Junkie, @Eclipse, posed the question in the blog comments asking me who is my favorite in terms of "all around general hotness" – Robert Pattinson, Adam Lambert, or Elvis Presley. She obviously chose these three men because they are property of Pop Culture Junkie and we (Or is it just me?) swoon over them on the regular. Now, I felt this post would be fun because who doesn’t appreciate looking at sexy man meat whenever there’s an excuse? But mainly I wanted to do a blog post on this topic vs. simply answering her question in a blog comment because we’ve had an influx of new members lately (**SQUEE**) and we need to introduce these sexy new mamas to PCJ’s fave man candy… and of course, I’ll pick my fave after putting our men to the “all around general hotness” test!

These categories are random but what I tend to notice about men. And I figured it would be easier to rate the guys in each category, giving them an overall score, and alas, a winner! This will help me come to a decision! I’ll rate each category on a 5.0 scale: 5.0 = PERFECTION! 0.0 = They suuuck. (Warning: I'm a tough grader...)

The Face

Robert Pattinson: RPattz certainly gives good face in magazines, doesn’t he? He can strike a pose like no other! In fact, as I’m typing this I keep hearing Madonna’s “Vogue” in my head because he can be GOOFY AS HELL in interviews, but the minute you put a point and shoot camera in his face he’s all “smolder, smolder, drink me in…vogue.” 4.9/5.0

Adam Lambert: Those eyes! Damn they sexy! That smile! Damn, it’s so pretty and genuine! Nice teeth too! There seems to be an Elvis quality about Adam’s face that certainly wins him some points in my book, and when he sings and curls that upper lip like Elvis….SWOON! Adam’s face is both masculine and pretty at the same time. He’s one of the few – if not the only – man that can wear rock star eye makeup and be totally gorgeous to me. 4.7/5.0

Elvis Presley: My goal in life (or at least with this blog) is to get all of you non-Elvis fans to understand exactly why I fell in love with this man at the tender age of 14. Have you seeeeeeen his faaaace? Oh god, those high cheek bones were the death of me back then and they’re the death of me now. To this day, if I ever see a man with high cheek bones like that I instantly want to lick his face. That crooked smile coupled with that bone structure is dead sexy to me. 4.8/5.0

The Hair

Robert Pattinson: I find that Rob’s hair has a lot to do with his level of hotness for me. So it’s incredibly frustrating when his hair isn’t exactly how I like it. And I like it best either in a retro pompadour a la “Twilight”, or messy sex hair, a la “Remember Me”, “Vanity Fair”, etc. I want to run my fingers through it like Bella does in FanFiction and hold fistfuls of it in my hands just to see what it feels like! 4.9/5.0

Adam Lambert: Adam’s hair is simply amazing. It’s thick and black and it has so many personalities. He can do whatever the hell he wants with it and I love that he surprises me every time I see him. One minute it’s emo hair; all long on one side, the next it’s a pompadour like Elvis, or maybe a messy faux hawk! I’m totes infatuated with that man’s hair! 5.0/5.0

Elvis Presley: Elvis also has amazing hair, but like RPattz, if it’s not how I like it I get frustrated! I like it 1950's slicked back pompadour style or maybe slightly falling down in his face when he’s been dancing and singing. 4.5/5.0

The Personality

Robert Pattinson: Oops, unfortunately Rob isn’t going to score high on this one, especially with his recent interviewing guffaws talking about Reese taking a DUMP on set! He seems like a really nice, sweet guy and I’m sure his sense of humor is gloriously British and fun when he’s in the comfort of his inner circle, but from what I’ve seen, he’s not gonna beat out his competition on this one… 3.0/5.0

Adam Lambert: I tell ya, this boy has got personality that goes on for miles! He’s quick witted in interviews, articulate, and OMG that laugh of his – ahhhhh – such a fabulously contagious sound! I just want to hang out with Adam and be his best friend slash lovah. Watch my one of my fave Adam interviews with Michelle Collins: "Martini Minute." 5.0/5.0

Elvis Presley: What Elvis had was charisma. He was larger than life, yet shy and humble. He had a playful spirit about him in his inner circle and he was funny and fiery and commanding all at the same time! He had a myriad of moods and kept you on your toes. Do I want to hang out with Elvis? Hmm…more so I just want to sit and watch him, you know, just be a fly on the wall and watch him enter a room. GAWD, that would be cool. Watch this Elvis interview, to see his swagger, sexy smile, and shy yet confident demeaner!! 4.7/5.0

The Swagger

Robert Pattinson: Edward Cullen in fanfiction has swagger… Robert Pattinson in real life does…and he doesn’t. There are times he looks incredibly sexy walking into a room and there are times I’m just like, “ROB, THROW DEM SHOULDERS BACK AND QUIT SLOUCHING!!!” He doesn’t exude a lot of raw confidence and to me, that’s sexy as hell in a man. 4.5/5.0

Adam Lambert: Boy has SWAGGER! He can slither across a stage oozing sex appeal and confidence like no other! This man has confidence, yet, he’s managed to stay mostly humble with only the occasional rock star drama! 4.9/5.0

Elvis Presley: I’ll tell you, Elvis had the sexiest walk I’ve ever seen. He just Werked.That.Shit. He was tall (6’1) with broad shoulders and he had great posture. It’s just the way he moved and held his arms or moved his hands or looked around a room when he entered it that instantly meks the panties drop. Mama mia!! 5.0/5.0

Ladies and gentleman, based on the scoring above in these very important categories, our winner is….drum roll please….

ADAM LAMBERT with an overall score of 19.6/20.0!

Second place goes to Elvis Presley at 19.0/20.0 and rounding out our three faves is Robert Pattinson with a 17.3/20.0. (Shoot, that personality score really killed his overall hotness, gurls!) You may be asking yourself; "Jeez, if you love Adam so much more than Rob, why is Rob your most frequent blog topic?" Wellllll.....idk. I guess because Rob embodies my favorite fictional character in Edward Cullen, and as Edward he does a PHENOM job! Plus, Adam is kind of off recording an album right now and not in the public eye as much, so you know, outa sight outa mind. And obvy Elvis is a totes vintage obsession that doesn't require weekly blogs because it's not like he's churning out new news or anything! Ha!
