Hiya peeps! If you've wondered where I've been, I've been Keeping Up with the Kardashians all fall long, holed up in my house with my baby on maternity leave just watching rerun marathons of this kooky fam living the luxurious life. Hey, my life 'aint so exciting these days (other than carrying around a 3 month old on my hip!), so I live vicariously through the glam life of the Kardashians. But wait......what's this breaking news??

KIM KARDASHIAN FILES FOR DIVORCE!!

I gave it 18 months – apparently I was waaaaay too generous. It was only a matter of time before Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries split, and today it’s official that Kim has filed for the big ‘D’. I’m sorry, but I find this totally embarrassing for ‘Princess’ Kim. They just had a $10 million wedding TV special that aired about 23 days ago! The marriage lasted 72 days! I mean seriously, did anyone think this was going to last? I wanna know if Kim even thought this was going to last or if she just desperately wanted a fairy tale wedding no matter how long the actual marriage lasted. She also wanted babies since she thinks she’s over the baby making hill of 31 years old. Good thing she didn’t ditch her birth control pills in order to squeeze in a quickie pregnancy in this short lived marriage. Good grief, can you imagine?

That wedding special was like watching a train wreck in slow motion, wasn’t it? You could see the trains colliding and you knew what was going to happen in the end, but it was so sensational to watch! How ridiculous was the wedding special anyway? Who has three wedding dresses? She probably spent half the reception in some dressing room getting a new hairdo to match the next dress and fresh new makeup. Everything seemed so staged. The one thing that stood out as an OMG moment was when Kris Jenner ordered about three high end vehicles to usher the Kardashians into the wedding location but totally forgot to include Kris’ side of the family!!! It was just so blatantly obvious that the Kardashians, namely Kim and her mom, thought the wedding was all about putting Kim and the fam on a pedestal. It didn’t matter who the groom was, Kris was interchangeable.

Not that I was on Kris’ team or anything, he was such a goon and pretty immature. BUUUUUUT, I did love those times when he called Kim out; like when he told her to stop acting like a princess because “four years ago she was selling boutique clothes in the Valley!” Go Kris!

Oh well, I’m not surprised by this – I doubt a single person in America is. For Kim to rush down the aisle with a guy she barely knows was so amateur of her, especially since she’d already been married once as a teenager! I can even see this negatively affecting the Kardashian brand a bit. This makes them all look a bit clownish. I’m sure most people are laughing at them, not feeling bad for them. The fam will try to spin it to make it look like Kim is the victim and she married a guy who was just taking advantage of her celebrity, but Kim is just as responsible for this mess. I wanna say that I’m going to quit watching this silly show, but I’m not going to lie, my eyes are going to be glued to this news and the upcoming “Kim and Kourtney Take New York” series so I can watch the short lived marriage crumble on TV. I know, so awful of me to find entertainment in this. But those Kardashians don’t care why you’re watching, just as long as you’re watching.

Next up, I’m crossing my fingers for a Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick wedding! Now those two are entertaining!
